1. Ride Leveler
Ride Levelers replace the rear shock absorbers. They are similar in all respects to the conventional shock absorbers they replace but with the key addition of an auxiliary pneumatic spring. The spring acquires the desired rigidity on demand to ensure leveling of the loaded vehicle.
The Ride Leveler simply replaces the rear shock absorbers. The height of the vehicle can be adjusted by means of increasing or reducing the air pressure (from 1.4 to 8 bar) in the system.
When the vehicle is loaded, the driver inflates the Ride Levelers using a Monroe on board-compressor (CK12) or just using a garage airline. Monroe Ride Leveler are always offered with their installation kit including 2 shock absorbers, some flexible tube, a connecting valve with a T junction and a manometer. To adjust the height of the car even easier, an optional onboard compressor (CK12) could be installed giving the driver the possibility to adjust vehicle’s height from his/her seat!!! |
