1. Monroe Mounting Kit

The upper mounting parts of struts and spring seat shock absorbers are most subject to wear.They are normally composed of a bearing and a rubber part or an integrated unit which could be damaged by different factors:

2. Monroe Protection Kit

When replacing struts or spring seat units, always check the compression bumper and the dirt shield around the piston rod. Those parts are included in the Monroe Protection Kit which have an important role that is often forgotten.
Dirt shields helps increasing life of the shock abosrber by protecting the piston rod of 2 ways:

• allows draining of the elements of pollution (water,mud,sand) to protect the road coating
• avoids shocks from stones impact to protect surface damage of the rod
